This two-sided version is the same as the longer 400mm version.
The Strop board is now about 300mm long and 75mm wide. It includes 18mm birch plywood from Finland in between two leather sheets. Vegetable-tanned brown leather comes from Italy. 2,7mm hard leather on the other side and suede on the other. You can use both sides of the board, hard leather might feel strange at the beginning, but you will soon see the results.
"Once you have tried a strop board, there is no going back ;)"

What is the difference between Soft and Medium leather?
Both leathers achieve the same result, but what are the other differences?
SOFT leather has a tacky feel, providing natural feedback to the knife. This makes maintaining the knife's angle easier and keeps stropping more controlled. SOFT leather is coarser than MEDIUM leather. So, if you're working with just leather without pastes, this is something to consider.
MEDIUM leather is stiff and slippery, somewhat numb to the touch. However, knives tend to shed metal onto the surface of the leather, so after a short period of use, the shiny smoothness disappears, and the leather starts to feel tacky.
Leather is a consumable, but it will not wear out. This means that MEDIUM does not last any longer in use than SOFT. You must be careful while knife stropping. From my experience, I know that the knife's tip quickly leaves cut marks in high-speed stropping. So please be patient while stropping.
