KEN-SYOU Diamond Plate Medium

After many inquiries, we finally have the Ken-syou designed diamond flattening plate available for sale! This plate is manufactured by the same factory that produces the popular Atoma diamond stones, and its pattern is inspired by Ken-syou's specifications. The product is marketed under their brand.

The surface pattern significantly facilitates flattening, as loose material does not clog the stone, making the flattening process much smoother.

Important note: This diamond plate is intended solely for flattening sharpening stones and should not be used for sharpening knives.

The plate has the same grit as Atoma #400 and is known as the Diamond Plate Medium.

Please note, that this is only the plate without an aluminum base. The back of the plate features high-quality double-sided tape that adheres well to metal, glass, and similar surfaces.

ATTENZIONE!

Le pietre diamantate sono efficaci e durevoli, ma richiedono un po’ più di attenzione rispetto alle pietre per affilatura tradizionali. Utilizza sempre l’acqua: in questo modo il metallo rimosso durante l’affilatura viene facilmente eliminato. Presta attenzione alla pressione, soprattutto quando affili oggetti a punta. Una raccomandazione comune è che con le pietre diamantate si può anche dimezzare la pressione e ottenere comunque il massimo risultato dalla pietra. In questo modo si garantisce che i diamanti restino saldamente attaccati alla superficie. Pulisci sempre accuratamente la pietra.
