Naniwa Super Stone Pack

The Naniwa SuperStone is not as powerful as its big brother, the Naniwa Pro, but it beats it in terms of comfort. The SuperStone is a Splash-n-Go stone, so it only requires a little water to get started. The stones are semi-soft, but they don't form an actual slurry. This combination has created perhaps the most consistent and comfortable stones to use.

SuperStone is best suited to Western knives with a hardness of 60 and below. However, the 400 stone included in this kit can also work with harder carbon steels, allowing you to get around that recommendation.

The kit comes with 400, 1000, and 3000 stones, a high-quality Naniwa stand, and Suehiro 280 flattening stones. 


OBS!

"Splash-and-Go"-stenar bör inte förvaras i vatten under längre perioder. Använd bara så mycket vatten som stenen behöver. Sänk inte ner stenen i ett vattenbad. Torka av stenen med en handduk direkt efter slipning för att hålla den ren och påbörja torkningsprocessen. Låt stenen torka i en position där den inte vidrör någon fast yta – till exempel liggandes på en penna. Låt stenen torka långsamt och i sin egen takt, utan extra uppvärmning. Utsätt den inte för direkt solljus och låt den inte frysa i fuktigt tillstånd. Torktiden är över ett dygn. Förvara stenen skyddad mot stötar, till exempel i sin egen låda utan eventuell ursprunglig bubbelplast. Lägg inte stenen i en plastpåse när den är fuktig.
