Very nice stone. Needs to be planed first time of use since it is most probably machine planed from the factory. If you are not looking for mirror finish this could serve as the last stone. In combination with a coarser stone this can produce a super sharp edge. All these stones dries quickly which is great, can be stored in the box the morning after honing.
