Hiokami B20 – 67 Layers Damascus Steel
The Hiokami B20 series represents modern Damascus steel at its best. The blade is made of 67 layers of Damascus steel with a 10Cr15CoMoV steel core. With a hardness of 60 ±1 HRC, its durability and edge retention are achieved through vacuum heat treatment and deep freeze processing.
A distinctive feature of this knife is the Pakkawood handle – natural wood impregnated with resin and laminated. It combines the beauty and feel of real wood with durability that far surpasses ordinary wood. The handle sits exceptionally well in the hand, making this model one of my personal favorites.
The blade is designed to the ideal hardness level: it remains durable while still being easy to sharpen with standard whetstones.
The finish is exceptionally high quality – especially for this price range. Every detail, fit, and finish shows that this is not a mass product, but a carefully crafted tool.
This model also avoids the common issue of smaller knives having handles that are too thin. Perfectly proportioned dimensions make this a favorite for many.

NOTE!
A quality knife requires the treatment it deserves. Do not wash the knife in a washing machine. After use, wash with warm water. Dry in a towel and store in a magnet or knife rack. Do not twist anything with the knife, and the general recommendation is that it not be used to cut sticks, bones, or frozen meat. This will avoid chipping the blade and breaking the tip.
