MORIHEI Morihei Pack

The Morihei Pack is a comprehensive sharpening kit featuring two exceptional whetstones, a flattening stone, and a sturdy stone holder.

Morihei whetstones are synthetic stones made from natural stone powder, offering a superior sharpening experience, especially for carbon steel. These Splash-n-Go stones require only a small amount of water to work efficiently. For optimal performance, simply wet the stone and rub its surface with the included flattening stone to generate a sharpening slurry right out of the box. Morihei stones are classified as medium-hard, making both sharpening and polishing an enjoyable process.

In addition to the 1000-grit stone, the Morihei Pack includes the 4000-grit stone, my absolute favorite from the Morihei series. This stone exemplifies the quality and performance of the series. The pack also features the Suehiro 280 flattening stone, which is perfect for surface preparation and maintaining a flat surface. The indispensable Naniwa stone stand completes the set, providing a stable platform for your sharpening tasks.

You can expand the Morihei Pack with additional whetstones, such as the Morihei 500. These stones have performed exceptionally well in sharpening various tools, as demonstrated in the video below. Customers have reported excellent results when using Morihei whetstones for sharpening chisels. The series also includes legendary stones like the MORIHEI "Karasu" 9000, a favorite among straight razor users.

Les pierres "Splash-and-Go" ne doivent pas être stockées longtemps dans l’eau. Utilisez uniquement la quantité d’eau nécessaire pour la pierre. Ne plongez pas la pierre dans un bassin d’eau. Après l’aiguisage, essuyez immédiatement la pierre avec une serviette pour la nettoyer et lancer le processus de séchage. Laissez sécher la pierre dans une position où elle ne touche pas de surface dure – par exemple posée sur un stylo. Laissez-la sécher lentement et naturellement, sans source de chaleur supplémentaire. Ne l’exposez pas à la lumière directe du soleil, et ne la laissez pas geler si elle est encore humide. Le séchage prend plus de 24 heures. Conservez la pierre à l’abri des chocs, par exemple dans sa boîte, sans l’emballage à bulles d’origine. Ne placez pas la pierre humide dans un sac plastique.
