ATOMA 600

ATOMA #600 is called a COARSE plate; for me, it is more like medium coarse. It makes a perfect combination plate when you add #1200 on the other side. 

Grit:   #600
Long:   210 mm
Wide:   75 mm
Thick:   10 mm for the base + 1 mm for the plate

NOTE!

Diamond stones are efficient and long-lasting but require more attention than traditional whetstones. Always use water. This helps the sharpening residue immediately to wash away. Be aware of pressure, especially when sharpening sharp objects. The traditional advice is that when using diamond stones, you can even halve the sharpening pressure and still achieve the full power of the stone. This ensures that the diamonds stay stuck to the surface of the plate. Always clean your stone carefully.
