The Morihei Hishiboshi series, made from natural stone powder, is often recognized as one of the best whetstones for carbon steel. This stone is a Splash-n-Go stone, meaning it requires only a little water to work. In addition, the stones have a genuinely excellent sharpening feel, and this is due to the slurry that forms on the surface.
