Suitable sharpening stone: Natural stone-based sharpening stones are at their best with carbon steels. For example, Morihei and Shin Nagura stones work exceptionally well. Sharpening is also excellent with Naniwa Chocera and Shapton stones.

NOTE!
A quality knife requires the treatment it deserves. Do not wash the knife in a washing machine. After use, wash with warm water. Dry in a towel and store in a magnet or knife rack. Do not twist anything with the knife, and the general recommendation is that it not be used to cut sticks, bones, or frozen meat. This will avoid chipping the blade and breaking the tip.
