
I made a cutting board in the size of 330 × 250 mm for a customer, and the size turned out to be so practical that I decided to create a version of it from the original Beige board as well.
This board is cut from the original 750 × 330 × 20 mm Asahi Pro board. The saw blade takes about 3 mm, so the actual width is around 248 mm – a note for those who care about precise measurements.
Asahi material is excellent to work with: it can be cut, drilled, perforated, and milled without any problems.

ASAHI board may become deformed if placed near a flame. Do not use or store at temperatures over 90 °C or below -30 °C. Board may become warped or deformed if weighted down for extended periods at high temperatures. If this happens; Heat the board to around 80 °C, lay on a flat surface, place a heavy object on top and allow it to cool. Do not store board at an angle. Stand it up straight. Do not wash in the dishwasher. You can use bleach, but do not soak in bleach for extended periods. Use a heavy nylon brush for cleaning; for maintenance, sandpaper can be used.
