PLEASE NOTE!

The HASEGAWA board may deform if placed near a flame. Do not use or store at temperatures above 90°C or below -30°C. The board must be thoroughly cleaned immediately after use. The board can be washed in a dishwasher. You can use bleach, but do not soak in bleach for long periods. Use e.g. a root brush for cleaning.

Dulls knives way faster than any other board I’ve tried. Maybe I just got a bad one, but honestly I’m disappointed. Tried to return it, but they wouldn’t give me a refund, so I ended up buying an Asahi instead. The board feels kind of odd to use: on the one hand it’s soft and pleasant, but on the other it creates this rubber-like drag against the knife, which is not enjoyable at all. It also takes forever to dry after washing. The only real plus: it’s very lightweight for its size.

I simply have no words for the feeling you'll have when you first try a Hasegawa.. there's nothing like it if you've been using normal cutting boards.. and you'll never want to use other boards again. its simply that amazing!
